New calculation agent...23/12/2009

The development team have just completed a three month beta test of a new calculation agent at the largest timeware site in the UK. Currently over 3500 employees are active on the system with each daily calculation taking less than 60 minutes. This is a reduction in processing time of over 75%!

An added bonus is that the agent runs seperatley from the event handler enabling new employees to be enrolled whilst the calculation is processing. This new feature will be made available in the first quarter of 2010.

Target: 100% SQL usage within six months18/12/2009

It is my goal to convert all non-SQL timeware sites to timeware 2010 within the next six months. In the current climate we must ensure that all customer solutions are efficient and scalable. Migrating from MS-Access to SQL enables the client to achieve these goals with a minimum amount of disruption to an already busy finance department!
