We can’t see any major benefits in including this feature! We are, however, looking at ways of temporarily removing 'old' or seldom used references from multiple places through the system.

Suggestion: On the PIP, when approving absences, you could have 40 or 50 absences and you have to drill down on them to see the from and to times, can the ‘from and to’ times be put onto the initial absence list you are presented with?

It looks like we may have overlooked this! We believe we have identified the screen and are confident that we will correct the anomaly in the February release of timeware 2012.

Suggestion 2: Weekly Hours reports only run from Mon to Sun, can this be changed to the pay period order?

We will ask the reports developers to look at this immediately! We will put the corrected report into the next minor compile of timeware 2012.

Suggestion: In the PIP (Supervisor mode; Adjustments) - when you click on the date field for a missed booking you can't see the clocking details for that day (eg the clock in or out that the person did do). You have to click on the person’s name for this and then scroll down to select "add a booking". It would be good if you could see the clocking summary for that day when you click on the date field to enter the missed booking to make the process quicker for a supervisor.

The PIP is due for a major overhaul in timeware 2014. We have added this suggestion to the list of general improvements for that version.

Suggestion: I was at a site yesterday where the customer has been using Blick Astrow.

One of the features that they use quite a bit from a Health & Safety perspective is a Attendance Display that basically highlights the person with a Green Dot beside their name if they are in and a Red Dot if they are out.

Would it be possible to have the same idea on the ADP showing the Grid colour as green or red depending upon their status? Instead of the red and blue that it currently has below?

Suggestion: Would it be possible for event handler to ping each of the terminals or do a test connection, if any fail then could the Agenda Summary show which terminal isn't responding, this would allow me to run each terminal in independent terminal mode. Then if they are missing clockings they will be able to see one of the terminals is down.

We are adding a reporting/email feature on timeware 2013 to notify the timeware administrator if/when a terminal fails to communicate for more than 60 seconds. Hopefully this will solve your problem?

Suggestion: Issue: Attendance Display Panel - wants to set to just show the "In's" in a similar way to the Real Time Indicator - does not like the refresh in the Real Time Indicator

The last I heard about this one was that it would be resolved in 2012

The modification to the ADP didn’t make it into the final release of timerware 2012. Watch out for this and several other ADP improvements on timeware 2013!
